Spend the day participating in one of Hawaii’s most favorite past-times. Located on Oahu’s Windward coast, expert instruction and your Stand-Up Paddleboard is included, which is everything you need to have a fun experience, while learning about this exciting water sport.

Your 2-hour lesson will begin in Ka’elepulu stream, Hawaii’s largest network of inland freshwater canals. The extremely calm waters are the perfect place for beginners learning to keep their balance, paddle, and turn their stand up paddle boards.

Your expert Stand-Up Paddle instructor will assist you in learning the basics in the calm waters of the Ka’elepulu stream. Teaching you basic paddling strokes, and the secrets to turning and balance. Once you have the basics down your instructor will guide you along Kailua’s pristine beaches, or even over to Flat Island during your free time on your Stand-Up Paddle.

Paddle Surfing is one of the most popular activities on Oahu, is great fun, and a very good source of exercise; building balance and strengthening your core. Also, due to stand-up paddle boarding’s high vantage point, wildlife encounters are very common so keep your eyes peeled for sea turtles, and colorful fish swimming around the coral reefs.

Your tour includes everything you need to learn to paddle board; a large stand-up board which has a full deck pad, and comes with an adjustable height paddle. After your two-hour lesson and stand-up paddle adventure you’ll have access to snorkel sets, boogie boards, and bamboo mats, for 2-hours of free time on the beach in Kailua.

We cannot guarantee lava sighting. However, this year many of our tours experienced a lava sighting, so it is a possibility. We cannot reimburse you if you don’t see lava, but we can tell you that this volcano tour is filled with tons of exciting stops and stories!

Volcanic fumes (VOG) are hazardous to your health.
