Have a fun and adventurous day the beach while learning how to standup paddle! Considered the fasted growing watersport in the islands, standup paddle is a great way to enjoy the amazing surf that Hawaii has to offer while taking in the view of our beautiful ocean scenery. Located along the calm waters of Ala Moana Beach Park, a favorite local spot, you’ll have the chance to paddle away from the crowds of Waikiki.

Your instruction begins with a 20-minute lesson, where you’ll learn all about the equipment used, paddling technique, and board positioning. Learn how to turn the board, how to balance, how to fall without injury while avoiding dangerous situations, and proper paddling stance once you’re on the wave. All of our instructors are well-trained and knowledgeable professionals, so you’re sure to have a fun and safe experience that you’ll never forget!

No equipment required! Your lesson will include a top of line standup paddle board, paddle, rash guard, and surf booties. Round-trip transportation from Waikiki hotels will also be provided. All skill levels are welcome!

We cannot guarantee lava sighting. However, this year many of our tours experienced a lava sighting, so it is a possibility. We cannot reimburse you if you don’t see lava, but we can tell you that this volcano tour is filled with tons of exciting stops and stories!

Volcanic fumes (VOG) are hazardous to your health. Persons with breathing and heart difficulties, pregnant women, infants, and young children are especially at risk should consult a health care professional before taking this tour to avoid potential health problems from exposure to fumes. All passengers are required to sign a release of liability form.

Because this tour involves inter-island flights, we are required by Federal law to provide the Transportation Security Administration the full names, date of birth and gender of all passengers. U.S. citizens must present a current government issued pictured ID and international visitors are required to have a valid passport. Regrettably, we are unable to refund any portion of the tour due to non-compliance of these federal regulations.
